Just for John
2:56 is about where you see Simon's look of "What the . . . ?"
What started as a group of friends emailing at least weekly has turned into this blog. I guess we're ready to share our modest humor with the world! DAILY UPDATES, *HILARIOUS REVIEWS*, AI GOSSIP!! Be sure to pay attention to who's posting what--we have several contributors, read the comments, and CHECK OUR LINKS ON THE LEFT to not miss posts! We generally all "meet here" after the shows especially. WELCOME!
oh my...that's priceless.
ReplyDeleteThey could use this as a promo for the Season 8 auditions--The Good, The Bad, and The What the . . .?
ReplyDeleteSimon Cowell was on Ellen Degeneres today. She highlighted that facial expression, among other things.
ReplyDeleteShe was able to elicit that he thinks David Cooke stands a better chance for the same reasons we've discussed - his continued powerful and creative later performances, contrasted with David A.'s "trained" and consistent approach (his dad is not allowed backstage at this point).
She also called him on being unnecessarily cruel in public, playing a composite of his scathing comments toward contestants. He actually acknowledged that the video medley, though "harshly edited," did make him dislike himself a bit, so let's see where that takes him.
She also balanced the criticism by clarifying that he is really a wonderful guy, all in all, whom she very much likes.
Wow, John. Thanks for that recap. That's consistent with what I've been reading, but I have to hand it to Simon for going in each week with an open mind as to who may win. I think Archuleta won the night fair and square and whoever wins, they'll both be very successful (though I do see more longevity for Cook).
